Pooran Chandra Pandey to speak at British High Commission Event on Education and Climate Change at XLRI Centre in Haryana

Around 250 college and school students (mainly girls)  from rural areas and tier 2 and 3 towns (Jhajjar and Rohtak districts) will attend  ‘NextGen Women in STEM – Building Tomorrow’s Leaders’ event at the XLRI campus. This educational event is being organized by the British High Commission in India, Chevening Scholarship Alumni, and Oxford University colleagues and XLRI Centre for Gender Equality and Inclusive Leadership.

Pooran Pandey, an alumnus of the London School of Economics himself has been called in to speak at the event organized by the consortium of British High Commission, Chevening Scholarship Alumni and Oxfords University colleagues in a rare joint event of the size and kind under ‘NextGen Women in STEM’ on February 21, 2025. It’s an event being organized for teh rural girls to make them aware about ongoing developments in STEM education and community climate action.
